Researchers including the wife and son of Apollo 1 Captain, Virgil ‘Gus’ Grissom, have found a number of anomalies in the ‘official’ Apollo 1 narrative. Grissom was an insider and an outspoken critic of his NASA employers.
Recent anniversary article about Apollo 1 here:
Maybe it will be China, or a private sector company like Richard Branson’s http://www.virgingalactic.com
The lethal radiation problem will doom their efforts just like NASA’s. Hopefully, US Taxpayers will not be billed for this folly. American taxpayers were previously billed $25+ Billion (1960’s era ) US Dollars for the Apollo Program. The vast majority of China’s Space Program is stolen/copycatted material from NASA, anyway, so they will not be going anywhere, either. On that note, don’t be suckered into any ‘we’re falling behind in a new space race’ rhetoric from NASA.
This is Phil Plait, the guy who runs the BadAstronomy.com website which allegedly ‘debunks’ Apollo hoax claims. Feel free to check him out with your own eyes and ears and decide for yourself if he seems credible. He was also a consultant on the Mythbusters’ Apollo Moon Landings episode.
This is an amusing scene from ‘Diamonds are Forever’ in which James Bond steals a ‘moon buggy’ from a studio and makes a quick escape…
Evidently, many people didn’t believe in the Apollo Moon Landings even back then.
The International Space Station is orbiting 240 miles above the Earth. You can see the bright blue background just like that which was visible through the windows of the Apollo capsule in the faked footage. The ISS’s 1970’s predecessor, Skylab, orbited the Earth at approximately 270 miles up.
In addition to this, our current spaceshuttles can only go 200-400 miles into orbit.
The trip to the Moon is 239,000 miles one way! Are we really supposed to believe they had better manned spaceflight technology (or any technology, for that matter) in the 1960’s than currently? Given this bit of perspective, we realize that we are not even remotely close to sending (or having been able to have sent) men to the Moon technologically speaking!
